Journals from

On this page you will find the daily journal of my trips to the Dolphin Institute (Kewalo Basin Marine Mammal lab) in Hawaii. In fact, I just got back from my second trip to TDI with my brother, Geoff, from May 14th until May 28th!

My journal from 2000 really tells the story of what it's like to work with a dolphin for the first time. Day 2 and 3 are probably the highlights, but you really won't get the whole idea unless you read the whole thing. In both my journals, I tried to explain the things I learned throughout my time with the dolphins, and everything in between.

If you're interested in participating in the program I took part in, you can find some more info about it here. You'll see a familiar name in the testimonials page!

I spent a great deal of time writing these journals, not only for myself but everyone out there who, like me, loves dolphins and wants to learn everything they can about them. The words in these web pages do little justice to how amazing an experience I had.

Enjoy!
